Advanced art students explore various areas of art. This class involves the use of a variety of two and three dimensional media and are expected to perform at a high level. Projects will be based on themes relevant to students, such as identity, culture, and conflict and require them to produce visual art forms as a response to creative challenges.

Microscopic compositions

Students were posed with the challenge of creating
original compositions based on microscopic organic images.
Maps as an artistic device

Students took on the challenge of using a map or maps of a particular place and incorporating them into an original piece of art. The artwork serves as a commentary about the locations they chose.
